We’re looking for the best and brightest young chartered accountant to represent ISCA and Chartered Accountants Worldwide (CAW) at the One Young World Summit. Eligible candidates must be current CA (Singapore) or Associate (ISCA).
About One Young World
The annual One Young World Summit brings together 2,000+ of the brightest young leaders from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. Delegates from 190+ countries are counselled by influential political, business, and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, and many others to harness the knowledge and skills needed for being impactful change makers.
Delegates participate in four transformative days of speeches, panels, networking, and workshops. They also have the opportunity to apply to give keynote speeches, sharing a platform with global leaders with the world’s media in attendance.
Delegates have the opportunity to challenge world leaders, engage with, and be mentored by expert industry influencers and make lasting connections. Together we celebrate our young leaders through social events and the unforgettable Opening and Closing
Ceremonies.
Competition Details

Winner’s obligations
- Share & post live updates during the Summit through your social media accounts, which will be re-posted by ISCA and CAW
- Experience being an influencer with the YPAC Instagram takeover during the Summit
- Participate in public relations activities for ISCA and CAW – e.g. video productions, write-up in ISCA journal and ISCA Blog
Participate in CAW breakout sessions as part of the One Young World programme - Participate in CAW breakout sessions as part of the One Young World programme
- Act as an ambassador for ISCA and CAW during and after the conference
- Actively contribute to the accountancy sector as a member of the ISCA Young Professionals Advisory Committee (YPAC)
Eligibility
- ISCA Member: CA (Singapore) or Associate (ISCA)
- Aged 35 years and below as at date of application
- Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
- A passion for global issues or a track record of making a significant impact in your community, country or organization
- The confidence to represent ISCA and Chartered Accountants Worldwide on the world stage
- Excellent communication skills
- Social media savvy
- Candidates are likely to be demonstrating leadership skills in their roles, have the ability to inspire and motivate others, and a vision of how they -and the profession -can have a positive impact on society
*The 2022 Summit will offer a hybrid of live, in person workshops at both Tokyo and regional One Young World Hubs, as well as online workshops that digital attendees can access through the One Young World Summit platform.
In the event of unforeseen circumstance due to Covid-19 restrictions, the ISCA One Young World ambassador will attend the summit virtually.

2. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend our networking event on the week of 7 March 2022. Candidates will be expected to provide a short presentation on one of the following One Young World plenary themes:
- Conflict Prevention – How can we prevent conflicts?
- Gender Equality – How can we accelerate gender equality?
- Oceans – How can we safeguard and restore the world’s oceans?
- Ageing Populations – How do we stop an ageing population from becoming an ageing crisis?
- Ethical Leadership – How can we be and develop ethical leaders -more responsible and effective than previous generations?
- Health – How can we ensure health equity for all?
