Digital Transformation in Today's Technology-driven Economy

ISCA CEO, Mr Lee Fook Chiew, was quoted in The Business Times on the question of "What are your wishes, as a business leader, for the Year of the Pig?" This is what he has to share:

Digital transformation is crucial for Singapore to prosper in today’s technology-driven economy. It is also one of the critical success factors underpinning our Industry Transformation Maps. However, the journey is not always easy. Small and medium-sized enterprises which have previously invested in off-the-shelf solutions might find it costly to continuously upgrade to more sophisticated models. On the other hand, those which want to adopt customised solutions may face difficulties in obtaining financial assistance.

There is a clarion call to support business’ sustained investment in their digitalisation journey. Therefore, it is important that trade associations and chambers, together with government agencies, continue to work closely with businesses to forge ahead in the national drive towards digital transformation.
