Tax Assistant Manager (East - Changi Airport)
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Tax Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and planning.
Job Details:
- Duration: 6 months with possible extension of 6 to 12 months (depending on business needs)
- Commencement date: Preferably July 2025
- Location: Changi Airport
Job Scope
- Collation of data for tax reporting (e.g. tax provision, income tax return, country-by-country-report (“CbCR”), base erosion BEPs Pillar 2, GST, property tax, withholding tax, double tax deductions, etc) from online systems and business divisions
- Review fixed assets listing and source documents to identify qualifying assets for capital allowance and property tax
- Review operating expenses and source documents to identify qualifying expenses for tax deduction
- Review withholding tax form and advise business divisions on withholding tax requirements
- Review income tax provision and tax return prepared by tax consultants
- Prepare and file double tax deductions
- Perform simple GST samplings
- Update Master file
- Tax support (i.e. ERP data design, UAT, etc)
Requirements:
- Possess at least 4 years’ of the relevant tax experience gained in a large or medium-sized public accounting firm or MNC
- Degree in Tax, Accounting or Business
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel features such as formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc
- Proficiency in SAP accounting system and Microsoft SharePoint (Optional)
- Able to work independently in a team environment
